Ready to Get Started?
Thank you for allowing Plant A Seed the opportunity to work with your youth! Plant A Seed Children’s Partnership Inc. offers character-building programs tailored for youth aged K-12, focusing on cultivating self-esteem and self-efficacy. Our mission is to ensure that children feel confident and capable as they transition from youth to young adulthood. We recognize the importance of fostering a series of small successes for children, as these achievements build resilience and commitment, ensuring consistency and continuity in their growth.
Our Teaching Method is student led and student focused. Our strategy is a four phased approach designed to create a knowledge base of tools for kids (Toolkit) to assist them in navigating through trauma related incidents, review and reinforcement. We provide interventions through partnerships with organizations that service the entire family resulting in a wholistic child.
As stewards of our future generation, it is incumbent upon us as parents, teachers, neighbors, and community leaders to prepare children for their roles as future adults. Now, more than ever, they require the tools to navigate the challenges ahead and catch up with the demands of the modern world. Our program lays the mental and emotional foundation necessary for children to confront and overcome these challenges with confidence and resilience.
With great expectations,

Plant A Seed works in four phases that are used like building blocks. As students understand the first block, they are empowered with the tools to move on to the second building block until they have completed all.Unit 1: IDENTITY: Who Am I?
(1st nine weeks)
Description: The foundation of identity is built using history, culture, family, and perceived strengths and weaknesses.
Unit 2: “BIRD’S-EYE VIEW”
(2nd 9 weeks)
Description: This phase focuses on establishing a "Bird’s-eye View" into the foundational blocks of the “Identity” that students have, and we use role modeling, activities, and discussion to delve into mindsets that need to be strengthened and those that may need to be restructured.
Unit 3: Community Engagement
(3rd nine weeks)
Description: Focus is on connecting all three phases to become a bridge to our community at large (citizenship, behavior, grades, role in society, family, peer groups)
Unit 4: Project Showcase
(4th nine weeks)
For the young elementary student, the activities are done in groups, not completed independently. Teachers will adapt each lesson using their page without the activity page.
